Background and Aims: Afon Technology is developing a wearable, non-invasive blood glucose monitor using resonance shifts in the microwave spectrum to identify blood glucose changes. An ongoing clinical trial currently investigates the accuracy, safety, and specificity of the device in patients with T1D and T2D. We report here on the accuracy of AI models built using very limited preliminary data from cohort 1, to predict the blood glucose variation in trial subjects.
